Re-Creating The United States

Learning objective: Practicing absolute location by creating your own map

You have been given the power to re-make the U.S, organizing it into as many states as you want. You may also add lakes and rivers where you want to.

You must:
Label the grids of longitude and latitude, and number them off
Create at least 10 states and name them yourself (have more if you need a challenge, up to 30), and name them whatever you want (even after yourself!)
Make a capital for each state and name it
Make some lakes/rivers and name them
Make notes ON A SEPARATE SHEET about:
Where all of your States and Capitals are, using your longitude and latitude grid
Where your lakes are
Now decorate and colour your map to make it look very nice
